Henry B. Sands, 85, widower of Bertha A. (Pusch) Sands, of Boyertown, passed away at home on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Born in Colebrookdale Township, Henry was the son of the late William Henry I. Sands and Virginia A. (Heere) Sands Bower.
Henry served in the United States Army from 1962 until 1969. He went on to work for Boyertown Foundry until his retirement.
Henry is survived by one son, Paul H. Sands, and one sister, Loraine M. Davidheiser, wife of Richard W., as well as an extended loving family.
He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will begin promptly at 11AM.
Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown.
Paul, we are so sorry to hear about Henry. We are in FL now so we will not be able to attend his service but you know our thoughts are with you. He and Bertha were our much loved “family”.
My condolences to the Sands family. Henry, (Hank) was a great guy, great worker, and some one to look up to . He will be missed.
