Anna B. (Gehman) Updegrove, 98, widow of Thomas Updegrove, Sr., of Boyertown, passed away at home on Friday, November 24, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late William and Perma (Graber) Gehman.

Anna worked at Drug Plastics and Glass Co. Inc., in Boyertown as a machine operator until her retirement. She later went back to work for a while in quality control.

Mrs. Updegrove was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ in Boyertown. She enjoyed quilting and working and gardening in her yard. She was a member of Bally Senior Center where she loved to play bingo.

Anna is survived by her four children: Thomas F. Updegrove, Jr.; Shirley A. Moyer; Ernest H. Updegrove, husband of Diana; and David H. Updegrove. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and thirty great-great grandchildren.

Anna is predeceased by two daughters in law, Joan Updegrove and Helen Updegrove; as well as three grandchildren, Roseann Browning, Helen Updegrove, Michael Moyer; and two great grandsons, Joshua Updegrove, and Ronald Schultz.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 6PM to 7:30PM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. A viewing will also be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 10AM to 11AM at the Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11AM. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Boyertown.
