Lena F. (Groff) Rothermel, 92, widow of Jacob H. Rothermel, of Boyertown, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Manatawny Manor with family at her bedside.
Born in Jacksonwald, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Levan) and Leon Groff.
Lena worked for over 40 years at Tung-Sol in quality control. She is a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oley. Lena enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards and playing Bingo. Most of all she loved family visits.
Surviving are two sons, Jacob C. Rothermel, husband of Donna of Boyertown and Gerald D. Rothermel, husband of Carol of Boyertown; one daughter, Nancy L. Tagert, widow of Tom of Exeter; three granddaughters, Rebecca, Christy and Kelly; four grandsons, Jonathan, Matthew, Timothy and Michael and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one grandson Daniel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 10:30AM at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 325 Covered Bridge Road in Oley. Viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30AM at the church. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
