Dorothy S. (Schanley) Miller, 92, of Boyertown, widow of Melvin N. Miller, passed away on November 16, 2017.
Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Hannah M. (McIlvee) and Claude F. Schanley.
Dorothy worked in quality control for Osan’s Manufacturing for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her great-grandchildren, Alexis and Alex. Dorothy also enjoyed playing Bingo, camping and going to the Jersey Shore.
Surviving are one granddaughter, Lori A. Kummerer, wife of Richard B. Kummerer of Upper Pottsgrove; one great-granddaughter, Alexis and one great-grandson Alex.
She was predeceased by her daughter Joanne Henry.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512. A viewing will be held from 10-11AM. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
