Albert R. Campion, 87, husband of Susan (Auer) Campion, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.
Born in Norristown, Albert was the son of the late Albert and Genevive (Shane) Campion.
Albert was a 1958 graduate of Collegeville – Trappe High School and joined the Marines where he was a rifle instructor from 1959 to 1963.
Albert was a truck driver hauling a variety of goods over the years until his retirement.
He always had a love of classic cars, often going to different car shows with his wife. His 1954 Chevy Convertible, which he has owned for sixty-two years, was his pride and joy. He enjoyed the company of his cats and dogs when he was home.
In addition to his wife, Sue, Albert is survived by a brother, James R. Campion, and his wife, Mary Jo; as well as a sister-in-law, Virginia Maree, and her husband Terence, of Massachusetts; as well as his two dogs, Charlie and Cookie; and three cats, Harry, Sweetie, and Katie.
Services will be private at the request of the family.
