Eric D. Hess, 54, widower of Wendy Hess, of Douglassville, passed away at home on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Born in Pottstown, Eric was the son of the late Lenus and Mary Ann (Windish) Hess.
Eric was a 1988 graduate of Boyertown Area High School. He most recently was employed with Mavis Tire in the parts department.
He enjoyed fishing, and all sports, especially the Atlanta Falcons. Eric was also a member of Gabelsville Athletic Association.
Brian is survived by one brother, Brian Hess, and his wife Patricia; two nephews, Brandon Hess, and Corey Hess; as well a step daughter, Katie Kline; her son, Elliott; two aunts Bea Miller and Bobbie Windish; and several cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at New Jerusalem Cemetery, 27 Lyons Rd, Fleetwood, PA on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gabelsville Athletic Association, 2 N. Funk Rd Boyertown, PA 19512

So sorry for your loss of Eric. So very happy of knowing him and his wife Wendy. Eric was one of the nicest person I have ever meet he always made me feel I belong to this world that is just how he was towards me. He was so very proud of his family and friends and I will miss him dearly!!
