Florence J. (Schanley) Styer, 93, widow of Elmer Styler, passed away at home on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Born in Earl Township, Florence was the daughter of the late Claude Schanley Sr., and Hannah (McIlvee) Schanley.

Florence worked at Osan Manufacturing in the sewing department for seventeen years. Following Osan, she worked at Boyertown Casket Company as a cutter until their closing.

Florence was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Spangsville. She belonged to JG Travelers Camping Club, and The Legion Bowling League in her younger years.

Florence is survived by one sister, Miriam (Schanley) Werstler; one brother-in-law, Gene Styer; and one cousin Betty Reitnauer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will follow at 11:30AM.

Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church 325 Covered Bridge Rd. Oley, PA or Ark Bible Chapel 88 Woodchoppertown Rd. Boyertown, PA.
