Robert W. Aston, 83, husband of Linda (Renninger) Aston, of Barto, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Pottstown Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in East Greenville, Bob was the son of the late Paul and Edna (Weiss) Aston.

Bob was a 1961 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and later served in The United States Army. Bob worked as a construction worker and then as a machine operator at Knoll until his retirement.

Bob was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Barto. He enjoyed long distance running, having competed in a marathon. He and Linda also enjoyed attending auctions and country music festivals together.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by two sons, Joseph Aston, husband of Lisa; and Jeffrey Aston, companion of Lori Mauger; as well as two grandchildren, Daniel Aston, husband of Rebecca; and Sarah Halteman, wife of Tim; and a great grandson, Joshua Aston. Bob is also survived by two brothers, Richard Aston, husband of Dorothy; and Larry Aston, husband of Cindy; as well as a sister-in-law, Carol Aston.

Bob was predeceased by one son, Matthew Aston, and one brother, Terry Aston.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512.  A funeral service will follow at 11AM.

Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Cemetery Niantic.
