Judith M. (Querry) Wentzel, 85, widow of Raymond G. Wentzel passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Manatawny Manor in Pottstown, PA.  Born in Mapleton Depot, PA, Judith was the daughter of the late Glenn W. and Anna Mary (Wood) Querry.

Judy attended the Boyertown Area High School and received her GED.  Pursuing her interest in cosmetology, Judy attended Empire Beauty School in Reading, PA.  While raising a family, Judy worked at The Oley Fire Company, The Pikeville Club, Misty Lingerie and the Great American Knitting Mills.  Judy retired from Conestoga Telephone Company.  In retirement, Judy followed her love for children and worked for the Arizona School System as an aide for special needs students.

Judy was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Boyertown.

Judy enjoyed her flower gardens, Pomeranian dogs and listening to music, especially Elvis.  Most of all, Judy loved getting the family together for holidays and picnics.  Making pot-pie and baking cookies with her niece, nephew and grandchildren were always memorable times.  She loved having sleepovers and making breakfast with them.

Judy is survived by her brother, Larry Querry (Barbara) also her daughter Lesa Surman (Michael), and two sons, Dale Marburger (Patricia) and Scott Marburger (Wendy) as well as her step-daughter, Tammy Wentzel and step-son, Timmy Wentzel (Angel).  She is also survived by granddaughters  Julie (Paul Simser) Marburger, Jena (Jason) Charlton, Lauren (Allan) Malcolm, Kayleigh Wentzel, Courtney Wentzel and Josie Reinhardt; and grandsons Matthew (Ashlin) Surman, Tyler Wentzel, Garett Reinhardt and Callen Marburger.  Judy is also survived by great-granddaughters Fiona Malcolm and Sophie Surman, and great-grandsons Luke and Noah Charlton.

Judy was predeceased by her daughter, Kelly Marburger.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
