Janet Marie Kline

Janet Marie (Conrad) Kline, 81, wife of Jay Kline, of Birdsboro, passed away at home on Monday, May 1, 2023.

Born in Pottstown, PA, Janet was the daughter of the late Elwood Conrad and Martha (Weller) Conrad.

Janet was a 1960 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and eventually went on to earn her certified nursing assistant certificate.

Janet started out her CNA career at Leader Nursing Home in Pottstown, eventually become the Aide supervisor. She then went on to work at Parkhouse in Royersford and eventually worked as a CNA and entertainment coordinator at Beverly Manor in Exeter. Janet stopped working to care for her mother.

Janet was a life member of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Bechtelsville, PA. In her younger years, she and her husband Jay opened their home to several foster children as they were raising their own family.

In addition to her husband of 62 years, Janet is survived by three sons: Gregory A. Kline, husband of Jessica; Anthony S. Kline, husband of Jacqui; and Christopher P. Kline, husband of Debra; as well as six grandchildren: Staci, Austin, Ashley, Brigitta, Andrew, and Madison; and two great grandchildren: Dominic, and Cameron. She is also survived by one sister, Barbara Gerhart, widow of Melvin; one brother, Sherwood Conrad, Sr., husband of Linda; and a sister in law, Dorothy Kline, widow of Harvey.

Janet was predeceased by one son, Thomas A. Kline. She was also predeceased by a sister in law, Jean Ann Zumbrum.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512.  A funeral service will follow at 10:30AM. Burial will be at Shepherd of the Hills Cemetery in Bechtelsville, PA. After the burial a luncheon will follow back at Shepherd of the Hills Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled Veterans PO Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250, or to Allentown Rescue Mission 355 Hamilton St. Allentown, PA 18101.
