Evelyn A. Stark

Evelyn A. (Leh) Stark, 102, widow of Joseph C. Stark, formerly of Boyertown, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Berks Heim Nursing Home in Leesport.

Born in Huff’s Church District Township, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Warren Leh and Ella (Bietler) Leh.

Evelyn took great pride in being a homemaker and raising her family. As her children got older, she did work for ten years at Boyertown Packing.

Evelyn was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Boyertown. She enjoyed crocheting and always had a cake baked every Sunday in case she had company. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Evelyn is survived by two sons; Barry L. Stark, husband of Marlene, and Richard J. Stark, widower of Betty, as well as two daughters; Sandra E. Hartman, widow of David, and Diane L. Hartman, wife of Michael. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Kimberly Corbidge, wife of Bill; Christopher Stark, husband of Julie; Troy Hartman, husband of Lisa; Melissa Reitnauer, wife of Scott; Rich Stark, husband of Christiane; Leora Chernesky; Michelle Stark, wife of Andrew Said; and Justin Hartman, as well as nine great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Evelyn was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, as well as a grandson, Eric Hartman.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 10:15AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11AM. Burial will be at Limerick Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund 45 N. Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512.
