Richard Glen Norris, 87, husband of Susan (McDonnell) Norris, of Gilbertsville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
Born in Pottstown, Richard was the son of the late John Norris and Pearl (Gauger) Norris.
Richard served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for forty years as a vending machine mechanic for Aramark and twenty five years in the maintenance department at St. Pius High School.
Richard was a member of New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of sixty five years are three sons: Scott Norris (Kelly), Michael (Connie), and Matthew (Wendy); as well as three grandchildren: April Cunningham (Josh), Alyssa Lindsay, (Ryan), and Michael Norris (Katie). Richard is also survived by four great grandchildren: Benjamin, Brenna, Bryce, and Emelia Glen; as well as one sister; Ruth Bealer, and one brother; John Norris.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church 2941 Lutheran Rd. Gilbertsville, PA 19525. A funeral service will follow at 10:30AM.
Burial will be in New Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery.

to my dear sweet Mom (Susan) I was so very sorry to hear about Dad! He will be missed by many. But for him I am so happy he is at peace. Will remember all the great times we had together.
